Preschool Activities for Halloween Party

Creepy, kooky, hilarious and spooky! Are you ready to party?

Let's check out some Preschool Activities for Halloween Party here! Get those preschoolers in the mood with a Halloween party and a few great activities, whatdaya say?

Halloween Word Game -

Write the words Halloween, candy, witch, party, ghost, trick-or-treat and pumpkin on a large piece of paper and hang it where everyone can see.

Split the kids up into pairs. Each child should get a bag with 10 pieces of candy inside and have them write their names on the outside.

The kids will tell each other stories, without using the posted words. If they say them, they lose a piece of candy to their partner.

They cannot discuss something else nor remain silent. Start the stories out for them:

1) A visitor from outerspace rings your doorbell on Halloween to ask what is going on.

2) Tell me five things you do on Halloween.

3) You need to decorate with your friends for your Halloween preschool activities.

You need to tell them what to do. End the game when the kids are tired or you're tired ;)

Table Top Ghost -

Tape two straw horizontally on an empty 2-litre bottle.

Blow up a balloon for the head and tape it to the top.

Cut cheesecloth into 1"x15" strips and dip them into diluted glue then drape them over one side of the bottle. Cover the entire balloon and bottle.

Add some black felt eyes and mouth. Pop the balloon when the glue has dried.

Eerie Invitations-

There are lots of printable Halloween invites available on the web. You can also get your child to create them as Preschool Activities for Halloween Party.

Homemade Spooky Black Cat Cards -

An alternative to the eerie. Fold a piece of black paper in half and trace a cat onto it.

Cut out the cat and glue some googly eyes onto the card.

Paper Bag Pinatas-

Using orange tempura, paint the bag.

Draw a jack-o-lantern face on the outside and stuff the inside with toys and/or candy.

Tie the bag closed with rope and hang it from a tree or other high place. Swing away!

Halloween Bingo -

Make the cards with Halloween figures in the squares. Use candy corn as markers. Fun preschool activities for Halloween.

Pumpkin Snack -

Munchies can be made by spraying a pan with cooking spray, layer pumpkin seeds on the tray and bake until toasted.

Goblins -

Spread a pile of wrapped candy on a table or tray. Each guest should receive a small bag or other container.

Set a timer for 30 seconds and have the kids get as much candy into their containers without using their hands as they can.

The preschooler with the most wins. (Everybody keeps their candy.)

When all is said and done the main point of course will be: have fun! Lots and lots of fun! Creepy, funny, happy, scared.. these are all a part of Halloween. Enjoy all your Preschool Activities for Halloween Party !
