I do something similar to this with my Pre-K students. I allow them to color and design the mug however they would like. Then on a small piece of white paper they draw their favorite thing about winter and I help them spell the word. On top of the mug I have an oval shape where they glue hot cocoa powder and marshmallows. (That is their favorite part!) Nice work! :)

Hi Leslie! thank you so much for submitting this preschool bulletin board, I just love it! the colors are great, and I would love to make one for my daughters, perhaps for summer, as we don't have winter here in Malaysia :)
