Cool Dr Seuss Preschool Activities

Let's check out some cool Dr Seuss Preschool Activities...

The Dr. Seuss series has been a longtime favorite to children everywhere.

The books have been translated into fifteen different languages, and many were illustrated by the good Doctor himself.

While we can't compete, we can certainly have fun with his books through a series of Dr Seus preschool activities.

One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish -

For One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish cut out fish bowl shapes and use blue tinted corn syrup to paint onto the shapes.

This will act as glue as you add fish and plant shapes to the bowl. Cover with plastic wrap when complete. Fun Dr Seuss preschool activities!

The Foot Book -

This Dr Seuss preschool activities calls for some variety.

Trace the children's feet and put them aside so the kids can try to find their own feet each day. Use different colored paper for added fun.

A Paper Wall can be constructed by having the kids step into different colored paints and have them walk across a piece of butcher paper to tack to the wall when complete.

Are You My Mother -

can be fun and creative.

Have the children search through magazines to find pictures of mothers and their children. It doesn't matter if the family is animal or human.

Cut the pictures out and form a collage or perhaps make cards for their own mothers out of them. Great Dr Seuss preschool activities.

If I Ran The Zoo -

Ever wondered what would happen if I Ran The Zoo?

Well, with this gave you can mix up animals by providing a bunch of different animal parts.

Have the preschoolers choose from the mixture and let them create their own animals.

Do they feel like naming them? Go for it!

Green Eggs and Ham -

Green Eggs and Ham is one of the most popular books from Dr. Seuss.

You could prepare this dish for the children for a snack. You can also talk about the origin of eggs and hams.

Fox In Sox -

can give the children a chance to come to preschool by wearing the zaniest socks that they can find, maybe even mismatch them.

Do this the day you plan to read the story.

The Cat in the Hat -

We haven't forgotten the most popular of all, The Cat In The Hat.

On the day you plan to read this story, have the kids play dress-up by wearing different types of clothing articles, including hats.

The hats can be as normal or crazy as they want them to be.

Finally, a really terrific outlet for Dr Seuss preschool activities is located on the Internet at www.seussville.com.

This is offered by Random House, the publishers of the books. Here there are several interactive games and activities that the kiddies could spend all day playing.

Gather up the kids, sit back, relax, and enter into the world of Dr. Seuss. You will find no other world quite like it in the universe.

Why would you? This one's way too fun!
